Securing Strategic Piping Contracts for AKAKUS Oil Operation - Libya
In a successful collaboration with NPCC, LIGOS has been awarded three contracts to supply a total of 50 kilometers of high-performance Carbon Steel pipes to AKAKUS Oil Operation. To ensure the highest levels of operational integrity, the pipes’ specifications, marking, and packaging were formally approved by AKAKUS Co. and successfully cleared a third-party inspection by Bureau Veritas (BV).
The delivery consisted of 6" Seamless (SMLS) Carbon Steel pipes with dimensions of 168.3 x 9.53 mm, manufactured in accordance with ISO 3183 and API Spec 5L standards. These pipes are Grade X42Q, PSL2 compliant, featuring Beveled Ends (BE) according to ANSI B16.25 and ASME B36.10M requirements, with individual pipe lengths ranging between 11 and 12.5 meters.
